Welcome

At Toadally Restored, we help bring life back to degraded landscapes by restoring wetlands, creating habitat for Species at Risk, and reconnecting ecosystems — one project at a time. Wetland ecosystems are among the most productive and important on the planet. They filter water, reduce flooding, store carbon, support pollinators, and provide critical habitat for wildlife — including many species that are now at risk of disappearing. Yet across Ontario and beyond, wetlands and other natural areas continue to be lost or degraded.

Many people want to do the right thing for nature but feel unsure where to begin, how to navigate permitting, or how to access the support and funding needed to restore habitat. We specialize in turning that uncertainty into action by bridging the gap between restoration science, on the ground implementation, and funding access. With a personalized, passionate, and science based approach, we guide each project from early assessment through to planting and long term stewardship — building resilient ecosystems that support biodiversity, clean water, and climate adaptation.

Our work is rooted in the understanding that we only have one planet, and that local, community driven restoration is a powerful tool for healing it. Whether we are creating habitat for snakes and amphibians, replanting native species, or restoring a wetland’s natural function, each project contributes to a larger vision of ecological renewal and land stewardship in Ontario.

Our Mission

Our mission is to restore Ontario’s wetlands and critical habitats for Species at Risk by working collaboratively with landowners, conservation partners, and local communities. We believe that meaningful ecological restoration begins with relationships — with the land, the people who care for it, and the species that depend on it.

Using science based best practices, we focus on restoring the ecological function of wetlands and surrounding habitats, supporting biodiversity, improving water quality, and increasing climate resilience across the landscape. We are committed to making restoration more accessible by helping landowners navigate permitting, access funding opportunities, and carry out on the ground projects that have lasting impact.

Through every project, we aim to build a healthier, more connected natural environment — one that supports native species, protects vulnerable ecosystems, and empowers people to become long term stewards of the land.

Our Vision

We envision a future where healthy wetlands and vibrant wildlife habitats are woven seamlessly into Ontario’s rural landscapes — not as exceptions, but as essential features of how land is cared for, used, and passed on. In this future, landowners are empowered stewards of biodiversity, restoration is a natural part of land management, and the value of ecological health is recognized alongside agricultural and economic priorities.

Our vision is rooted in the belief that conservation and productivity can coexist, that every property holds potential for habitat, and that restoring nature is both a responsibility and a legacy. Through collaboration, education, and on the ground action, we aim to help shape a more resilient, biodiverse Ontario — one restored wetland and rewilded space at a time.
